Sanaz was born and raised in India and was introduced to yoga and spirituality at a very young age.  Her unique teaching style consists of guided meditation, various breathing exercises, and gentle yoga movements as she shares Eastern philosophy, Indian mythology, poetry and stories from around the world.  Her gentle and kind voice is soothing to the ear and her compassionate and loving energy allows the student to feel at peace and safe during practice. Sanaz is a RYT-200hr Hatha Yoga teacher and she interweaves the insights and practices of spirituality with yoga poses to rejuvenate the body, mind and soul.

Gentle Low Back Yoga

Mondays 9-10 am

A gentle, and supportive class designed for all body types with new or old injuries, and tightness or persistent pain. This class focuses on stretching, stabilizing and strengthening the areas around your lower back and core. You will leave feeling comfortable in body, calm in mind, and in a high spirit.

Extra Gentle Yoga

Fridays 10:15-11:15 am

A deeply nourishing class designed to calm the nervous system and restore the entire body and mind. This intuitive practice supports you lying down, on your back, sides and belly. Includes guided meditation, breathing practices, extra gentle movements, EFT tapping, and a restful Yoga Nidra to finish. Students can stay only for the 1st 45 minutes of movement, or stay for the next 15 minutes of EFT, and the last 15 minutes of Sleep Yoga (Yoga Nidra).

Gentle Hips, Core & Back Yoga

Thursdays 9-10 am

A gentle, all-levels class focused on creating more ease, stability, and mobility through the hips, core, and back. These mindful movements with the help of deep breathing support strength, release tension, and restore overall balance.

Yin for Hips Yoga

Fridays 10:15-11:15 am

A slow, grounding practice that invites deep release through long-held poses focused on the hips and connective tissues. With the support of the floor and props, the body can soften, open, and restore as we place our body in comfortable laying down or seated positions. Leaving class feeling centred and relaxed. A perfect way to end the work week for everyone.
